One More Disco

With influences such as the Bloody Beetroots, Boys Noize, Toxic Avenger, the duo from Bastia (France) is part of this new wave of electronic music. First established in early 2006, this duo has been creating music based upon their passion for music and their goal is to conquer the dancefloors. They have been played by the likes of Les Pitits Pilous, Culture Prophet, The Bloody Beetroots, The Toxic Avenger and more. FCKN Crew consist of Nils and Antonie, and their live sets offer an unstoppable force of dance mayhem.

So when I first set eyes on their MySpace page, and heard their music, I saw they were online so I messaged them and we got in contact, after a while I decided I wanted to interview and feature them on the site. When did you both start producing music?
We started Fckn Crew in the Summer of 2006, love at first sight between two geeks of loud music, it’s been 5 years now and we remain friends to this day.

I have to say, your ’signature’ hat looks amazing! Any story behind it?
I won it at a contest, I had to shoot socks on eggs, then Charlie Chaplin’s grandson gave me the hat. True story!!

What are your influences?
Our influence are rock, new wave, funk and of course electro with trashy sounds !

How does it feel to have artists such as Les Pitits Pilous play your music?
It’s an honor that our music is being played all over the world, especially by amazing artists such as the Bloody Beetroots, Toxic Avenger and Les Petits Pilous.

If your studio was on fire, what equipment would you save?
The weed box, of course!

Who are your favorite artist’s at the moment?
Imagination and Worlds Appart because FCKN Crew are a boy band too! No seriously, the Bloody Beetroots are our favorite artist at the moment.

Who do you think will be big by the end of 2008?
Fckn Crew we hope hahaha.
