Early Daft Punk
POSTED BY Sam ON April 3rd IN Live, Tracks.
Sorry for the lack of updates, I have been working on our forum, I haven’t used PHPBB3 (the forum software) before so I’m trying to get to grips with it. You can register for when I do officially release it right now though, click here. So anyway, I had an art exam last week and the day before I compiled a playlist on my iPod which would last the duration of the exam, and because the exam was 5 hours, I had to compile a pretty long playlist. This Daft Punk mix I found was included, to my belief, it is pre-Homework era, the year 1997. So when I listened to this mix, I noticed they were all old versions of Homework tracks, and are a fair bit different to the final drafts that you hear on Homework. So here’s a track from the mix, by the way, the mix is Daft Punk at Rex Club in 1997.

PS: We are still working on the responses to our Soulwax public interview, so don’t think we have forgotten about it
By the way, I’m seeing them in London on the 24th so if anyone is going, comment and we can probably meet up or something. ![]()

What what what !??
You got our answers from the Dewaele family ? we NEED them, please, post them as soon as possible ! Thanks in advance
Homework was released on 01/20/97 (http://www.discogs.com/release/3235), thus this mix is a part of the Homework era, which started with Da Funk (1994).
The pre-Homework era was somewhat different (listen to The New Wave EP to see the gap.)
I love Around the World VS Moroder’s Chase at the end of this live. Could be listening to it for hours!
