Remix Competition!!

Well it’s nearly been 4 months since One More Disco first hit the internet, so I thought it would be wise to start a competition. And what better competition than a remix battle?! So I will describe it in short titled sections shown below:

Title of track to remix:
Metallica - Master of Puppets

Track notes:
I thought this would be a great track to remix because of it’s awesome opening. Justice play a “somewhat” remix of it on their live sets, which I’m sure you all have heard, but seeing as they haven’t released it (I predict it will be on Ed Rec 3), I think it’d be great if in the meantime; the readers of One More Disco create a collection.

Remix rules:

  • No Metallica vocals
  • Must be your own remix
  • Must be MP3 format (contact me if you have an issue with this)

Deadline:
The remix needs to be handed in within 2 months time, this post was made March 24, so the remix needs to be submitted to One More Disco by June 1.

How to submit:
To submit the remix, please do not comment with the download link, but go to the contact page and message us with the download link.

If you are going to participate:
Please comment below saying so, but do not post any previews or versions of your remix, would want to reveal them all to readers when the judging comes in.

Infomation:
The reason why we haven’t supplied samples/chopped-up tracks is because all you need for the remix is the beggining instrumental (all the track before the vocals kick in).

2nd place = MixMag Erol Alkan Disco 2006 CD + A post on One More Disco (and other popular music blogs)

    OMG i heard them[Justice] perform the Master Of Puppets mix last night at the concourse in sf, it was fucking AMAZING.
