Justice + Oizo

POSTED BY Sam ON January 5th IN one more disco.

Looky what I have found! I was searching through some Justice live set videos on youtube and came across one where the description was a link to the full, high quality set. Turns out the owners of the video, to my knowledge, are the people who did the VDJ’ing! Well, the video dj’ing looks amazing in the video, you need Quicktime to view it (if you have iTunes; you have Quicktime), you can do a quick Google search for the download or you can click here to download Quicktime.
Well, this set is quite frankly amazing, so do watch it. The original source: click here.

If you are viewing the video above with Internet Explorer 6 and are experiencing errors, please click here to view the video correctly.

So, after watching a load of videos, I was thinking what the track was at the beggining of the majority of recent Justice gigs. They did the same intro when I saw them in Brixton, so thinking hard I found out the song I was looking for is named ‘D.A.N.C.E. (live version); and to my knowledge it is only featured on the ‘D.A.N.C.E. Remixes’ EP, so after a lot of digging I couldn’t find an MP3 download for free anywhere, so when Gilles got online I quickly found out he owns it, so he sent it to me and I have for all you lucky people to download below. It is a remix of D.A.N.C.E. and it sounds like the Mstrkrft remix but it’s not, it’s one that Justice have done themselves.

Justice - D.A.N.C.E. (live version)

After more digging, I found a ‘rehearsal’ version of D.A.N.C.E. (which I have linked to download in my previous post) which could come in quite handy for mixer’s. I quicky put the 2 tracks I have listed in this post together in my mind and I discovered that if you mix the 2 tracks together, you pretty much have a replica of a Justice gig opening, like the one I went to.
Seeing as I don’t have the software (yet) or knowledge (yet) to remix tracks, I got Emil (RMLR); a friend of mine, to give it a shot. It doesn’t sound 100% but it’s fairly close, good nonetheless I say.

Emil thought it’d be good to make a second attempt at the 2 tracks mashed up:

I thought I’d change the subject a bit and move on from Justice for the rest of this post. Here’s a classic for you:

Hey, I’m a big Daft Punk/Ed Banger Records Fan, and I love those mixes and that video, that is nice!
    I got a question though,
Busy P is the owner of Ed Banger records, right?
and Daft Punk is managed by Busy P…
So does mean Daft Punk litterally belongs to Ed Banger Records???
    Clap back…

No, I believe Daft Punk belongs to Virgin Records (pretty sure it is them). The reason for this is because when Daft Punk were in their prime, Ed Banger Records didn’t exist, and the reason why Pedro Winter (Busy P) didn’t transfere them to Ed Banger Records when it got fairly big is because they probably had a contract with Virgin Records and if Daft Punk was on Ed Banger Records, they probably would not have been so big (because Virgin Records has the unlimited amount of money to market them).

    Thanks hoped this helped,
    Sam

See this line of the post:

“Well, this set is quite frankly amazing, so do watch it. The original source: click here.”

“click here” is linked, right click on it and then select Save Target As or if it doesn’t say that, Save Link As. Then select where you want to save and click OK (then it should be downloading). Enjoy.

    Unfortunately, It didn’t work :(
It came up with the “Internet Explorer ran out of time” message.
Could you download it for me, please?!?!?!
And upload it onto a filesharing site (Zshare, megaupload???)
    PLEASE, Don’t make an excuse!
    Just do it, PLEASE!!!
