Citizen Records: The Vinyl Collection

We have struck a somewhat deal with Citizen Records (Teenage Bad Girl, Vitalic, The Micronauts), so now they will send us promotional material (tracks, infomation etc.) and then we can post it for all you lucky people to read up about or to listen to.
At the end of 2006, the Citizen crew concocted “Résumé”, a dancefloor-oriented compilation, tinged with the crew’s various influences. In the beggining of 2008, Citizen Records now makes an inventory of its 7 years of existence and gives us its first “Vinyl Collection”.
After the insouciance of the beggining, it is not time to take a look at what has been accomplished: an unconditional love for vinyls and cassy physical material, when MP3s and downloads are always present…
In a time for digestion of “hype-marketed” albums and “spammed myspace” pages, Citizen stands out as an independent label writing a story of perpetual creation.
