One More Disco

Sorry for the wait, I have been getting all the video’s from my phone on to the computer, then into a uploadable format, and then on to dailymotion.com - but everything is fine because I have a lot for you in the following post.
To start off with, here’s a link to One More Disco’s Daily Motion channel, currently consistingl of Justice video’s I have taken (from the London gig and Oxford gig).

You can go directly to the video channel by clicking here which will take you to dailymotion.com which I find to be the most simple video uploader out there at the moment.So anyway, about this whole guestlist, backstage drama. I got my ticket, guestlist-exclusive ticket, but they were only accepting 10 people into backstage that night, which is understandable seeing as the venue is tiny. I had no quarrell, the staff and security there were very kind and explained the situation, I was even able to write a note on some paper and have the security guard give it to someone who was supposed to of given it to Xavier de Rosnay and Gaspard Auge (Justice), whether he did or not I don’t know but it was kind of the security guard to try.

It didn’t really matter that I got backstage or not, the gig was awesome, the 2 members of Justice walked past me, I just stood there with my eyes wide and mouth open for a while, I couldn’t speak to them as they were constantly moving through the crowd into the back room.
They had 2 less amps than when I saw them in Brixton (London), supporting CSS, but I have put this down to 2 reasons. Either they broke or, the more likely reason, they was not enough room, if they had the 2 extra amps, roadies or the support band could get through.

That nicely moves us on to the support band actually, I wasn’t sure at the time if I liked them or not but the morning after the gig, I began to love it. I had heard them on MySpace and thought the singer was female… to my surprise… it was not. It was all good though, the band was really good. The support’s name is Fancy, and Justice (in the chat room (see previous post) revealed they had always loved Fancy. You can hear their music on their myspace by clicking here.

Fear not, the Robbie Williams remix is amazing and doesn’t feature his vocal at all (thank christ). Justice played it at Oxford (Feb 15). That particular video I have embedded below for you, enjoy.

Now, for Ed Rec Vol 3. In case you have been under a giant, bomb-sheltered tunnel; deep underground, for the last few years, Ed Rec Volumes are compilations of artists on the legendary Ed Banger label (Justice, SebastiAn, Busy P, Mr Oizo, Mr Flash, Uffie etc.). Volumes 1 and 2 are out and available, in fact I own (but I have recently sold for size issues) a Ed Rec vol 2 t shirt, anyway, there has been a launch party (same night as the Oxford Justice gig actually, no idea why Justice didn’t go to the launch party instead of Oxford, but from the video that has emerged recently, it looked amazing. A video some time ago emerged of SebastiAn’s new track, well they is on this video in good quality, and I believe a new Mr Oizo track is featured on there too.
Anywho, the video is embedded below, and if your lucky, you can head over to ebay and try and get one of the quickly-selling-out Ed Rec vol 3 t-shirts, they have limited size and availabilty at arcademode.com and wesoldout.com but eBay has loads if you need anything specific. I got my t-shirt in good timing so I’m happy.
