New Justice, or is it?

POSTED BY Sam ON July 17th IN Essentials, News, Tracks.

So I have discovered this blog, called Waves At Night, never heard of it before today, which is disapointing but it looks like a lovely little blog, and I’m definitely going to check back there as much as possible, a new favorite for me I think. Anywho, seems they have an amazing post that they have just put up, new Justice, who-da-thought? Well, I didn’t quite understand the posters description on what the track actually is, but his theory is that the singers that are featured on D.A.N.C.E. did Justice a favor by singing for their track, and now Justice are re-paying the favor with a nice rework of their track; Stand On The World.

Keedz - Stand On The World (Justice Remix?)

Waves At Night, the blog that introduced this to me.

UPDATE: What we think this is, is that the Celestial Choir (Keedz) covered Joubert Singers, and Justice has remixed the Celestial Choir version… i think.

I don’t think Justice have anything to do with the track to be honest, and it’s just been featured recently.
    Maybe I’m wrong?

Maybe you’re right, I thought it’d be a good move to post if it is in fact Justice, even if it’s not, I still like the track :)

You think correctly, i’ve know this track (the original one) for a long time and the french group “Donovan” (formely know as killdahype) is set to do a song called “Chorus” with the same back vocals and piano line…check it in they’re medley somewhere in the blog world. I belive it’s justice because it sounds like justice! But i think soon will hear the truth. The original rocks so check it out as well! peace out

Yeah, quite a brain buster, but apparently Keedz’s track is a remix for the Larry Levan remix for Stand on the Word…

if its Justice, the guys at Ed Banger are marketing geniouses, or Universal, whoever is taking care of their distribution, because all the talk has already been enough to get the project enough gigs for a year…

its not justice. nice try tho!
its a group made by a record label to sound like justice and cash in!
and yeah its a remake of an old gospel song that was turned into a disco song by larry levan.
    look it up.
    stand on the word.
if it wasnt for larry levan you wouldnt have any of this music you like now.
    dive in to musical history.

Just an idea passing through my head:

I miss the time when we were young, listening to music that we didn’t know nothing about the style, bands, fashion… Now, with a title, there is all a concept, and I find it sometimes unhealthy. Especially in electro music.

    That’s all :)

    it isn’t Justice, it isn’t D.A.N.C.E.’s singers.
