Beens are 4 friends from Cologne; who started producing and DJ’ing early 2008, their influence to start something like this was due to their local club scene being really poor, I believe the term they used exactly was ’shitty music’. Beens were recently featured on Phase02.org which got my attention, so when they came to me a little later on, I was glad to feature them. They produce proper hard electro, reminds me of D.I.M. for some reason, I really quite like what they’re doing. I especially love their Amy Meredith remix, Running.
